Wow, it's been a long time baby....

Wow, I am either a total slacker or have been incredibly busy.  Wait I have been both!  To sum up what has been going on for the past six plus months. 

*Birthdays galore in my family and more to come since I have 3 cousins and an aunt that are pregnant with boys.  That is right 4 boys by the end of the year.  Two weddings as well, congratulations to Lauren & Dylan Moses and Eila & Brian Bunker.  May your lives be full of fun, laughter, and a lifetime of love.

*Matt got accepted to Arizona State University and will be moving to the Phoenix area to go to school for his pre-med major as well as to be with his girl friend Sylvie.  I am going to miss them both very much but it is a smart move for the both of them.

*Holidays: luckily not much going on in spring and summer time.  If there was a holiday it was pretty much enjoyed with family and playing Monopoly Deal.  It's our new family favorite game.

*School:  I am done!  I finished cosmetology school with little fanfare.  Though I did get ice cream that night.  On July 5 I went to Fairfield, Ca to the board of cosmetology did my testing and passed with flying colors!  So that is right I am now a licensed cosmetologist! Do the happy dance with me!  "Shake, shake, shake Senora!"  This also means I am free to do hair and will start posting more on hair, makeup and life style trends.

*LOVE:  Some good stuff going on there.  Met a wonderful guy in January at a birthday party (yes we met the good old fashioned way) through my friend Rachel.  He is great, we get along splendidly, I can drown in his beautiful eyes for hours and I am very happy with him.  Sad thing is that we are doing the long distance thing for a while but I will be moving soon to be with him and for a better life opportunities to the great north.

*Location, location, location:  Seriously thinking of moving again!  This time to the northern great state of Washington and Spokane to be exact.  California is too expensive, jobs are few and far between and I am over the hypocritical people here as well.  I know I will miss my friends and family but I have been feeling restless for a long time now.  So its time to get happy and leave my parents home for good.  I am sure they will like having a spare room again. :D
